Cheap Solution: Anyone who is dissatisfied with the thumbsticks of the Joy-CONS can access third-party devices. However, a cheaper solution is to replace the relevant sticks. At prices of about 12 to 15 euros you can get sets that contain not only two new sticks, but also all tools you need for the exchange.
Joy-con Drift: Repairing or sending yourself? Anyone who suffers from the spread drift problem can send the Joy-Cons at Nintendo for repair. If there is still a warranty, this is free, but even without any proof Nintendo often shows up. As a rule, it is therefore worth a try to contact Nintendo before handing hand. Moderately complicated exchange: The installation requires a bit of difficulty as well as some fingertips, especially in dealing with the partly very sensitive cables. If you keep yourself stringent to the instructions that are usually accompanied by such sets, or appropriate videos on the net, you should not get too much trouble. Housing to replace
Like the analog sticks, the housing of the Joy-Cons can also be replaced. This can be done for the very different reasons: Because of the look, because you want a softer or less smooth surface or because you prefer a control cross instead of the individual buttons on the left Joy-con. Handles for single joy-cons
Brackets in which a single Joy-Con insert and turn into a controller with handles are very popular. Especially for players with greater hands, the Joy-cons are so much more comfortable to keep.
Only for Simple Games: To a full controller, the JoyCon is not of course. After all, he only has a stick, four buttons and two shoulder buttons. After all, this is enough for some titles with simpler control as Mario Kart , but for more complex games, the handles are useless.

Joy-Con-steering wheels
In addition to the brackets in controller form, there are also those that have the shape of a steering wheel or tennis racket. That these are only useful for a closely limited number of games understands itself.
Cheap: These are usually simple plastic brackets without their own electronics, which work through the motion control of the Joy-CONS. Accordingly, the prices are. For example, the joy-con-steering wheels from Nintendo even cost about 12 to 15 euros in the 2-set. Third-party steering wheels are sometimes a few euros cheaper and offer similar quality.
Unfortunately very small: All joy-con-steering wheels are common: they are very small, which is due to the size of the joy-cons, which are inserted into the center of the steering wheel. Of course, that hurts the feeling of actually being at the wheel of a car or even only a karts, but with larger steering wheels, the buttons would hardly be achievable.
Hardly alternatives: Alternatives are unfortunately hardly available. Only the steering wheel of Hori * is a bit bigger and offers more grip on the sides. Joy CON Tennis Rackets
The tennis wangers are simple and affordable plastic brackets. Nintendo offers no racquet itself. It is therefore dependent on third-party products where prices for a set of 2 are between 10 and 20 euros.
Hardly quality differences: Quality differences between the different makes there are hardly any. It is recommended to buy products with hand loops so that the racket does not accidentally fly through the air and lands in the TV. However, these are usually available for cheap bats.
Optical Gimmick: Basically, the tennis rackets are hardly more than an optical gimmick. Joy-con Gun
No real goals: We have already referred to the tennis rackets as a bare gimmick, this is right at the Joy-con gun. Who hopes here on Motion Controls as with an Arcade shooter, will be disappointed. The plastic bracket simply serves to keep a weapon in the hands. You still have to go with the sticks of the Joy-Cons.

Ring Fit Adventure
A new Wii Fit: A very special case is the ring shown above, in which one inserts one of the two Joy-CONS. This is only used for a single game: Ring Fit Adventure. Controller handles for both Joy-CONS
A holder in which both Jocons fit and thus convert to a controller is already included with the switch console. Although there are numerous alternatives to the original on the market, but most offer no added value. A purchase is usually worthwhile only if the supplied bracket is broken and you are looking for a reasonable replacement or if you have two pairs of Joy-Cons and both want to convert into a controller.
Better hand posture: However, there are brackets that promise a more comfortable handheld as the original. It is worth noting, for example, the 10 Euro quite favorable model of Speedlink, in which the Joy-CONS are inserted obliquely. So the buttons are closer to each other at the bottom left and the stick at the bottom right, the stick on the top left and the buttons at the top right further apart, as this would be the case with a usual controller in the Xbox design.
Dissatisfied: If you are dissatisfied with the original with the handwriting, this cheap alternative may be worth a look. Investing more money into an even better bracket, but is unlikely to be worthwhile. Finally, from 20 euros you get right controllers in satisfactory quality.

Handles with charging function
Both the supplied bracket of Nintendo and the alternative of Speedlink have no charging function. Especially for players who use the switch first and foremost as home console, it may be annoying to keep the Joy-CONS from the holder again and again and hang on the switch. Charging holes release this problem.

This does properly your service, but here you should ask yourself the question of whether one does not want to buy a real controller from this money. Bracket with battery: Someworthy looks a bit different from third-party CSL recharging holder, because this has a battery with 1000 mAh and can therefore be used as a mobile power bank for the joyencons.
It is very useful: Really practical, however, is rarely, as the Joy-CONs are usually hanging on the switch during mobile use and be loaded over them. In addition, the battery of the switch is much greater problem than the battery of the joycons. We therefore advise to consider the purchase well. Charging stations
For players with many Joy-CONS: There are many ways to load the batteries of the Joy-Cons. In addition to the charging holes, the above-mentioned battery attachments and of course the ordinary charging on the console you can also use a charging station. These are mainly available for those who own more than two Joy-CONS and therefore can not all be connected to the console at the same time.

Hori Split Pad Pro: The most popular is the Hori Split Pad Pro, which ensures better handling thanks to its handles. Even sticks and buttons work more precisely than the Joy-CONS. This lacks some additional functions such as motion control and Rumble function. Also, the SPLIT PAD Pro can only be used in mobile operation and coupled to the switch. BeBoncool Switch Controller with large handles: Also a Joy-con-alternative that works exclusively in handheld mode is the Beboncool Switch Controller with large handles. These are not two individual controllers as in the Hori Split Pad Pro but a large holder with firmly connected controllers on the side to which the switch is inserted. For the transport he is a bit bulky. But he offers the feel of a real controller and is comparatively favorable with a price of around 30 euros.

Linker Joy-con from Hori: If you do not bother the size or sticks to the Joy-CONS, but only the fact that you have no reasonable control cross, there is a simple solution: a left joy Con From Hori, which owns exactly this.
