Details about Fortnite RIFT Tour: Start Time of the Ariana Grande-Concerts, Schedule, Watching and More

The RIFT Tour Event in Fortnite is almost there, and you can follow a live concert by Ariana Grande in the game when you log in at the right time. If you have not noticed it yet, there is a huge countdown timer in the Fortnite Lobby, and this timer breaks down until then. During the RIFT Tour there will be free rewards, new challenges and much more so that you do not want to miss anything. Here you will find everything you need to know about the Fortnite Rift Tour event, including the showtimes for the Ariana Grande concert and how you receive all rewards.

When is the Ariana Grande concert in Fortnite?

The Fortnite Ariana Grande-Concert will have five separate showtimes from 6 to 8 August. EPIC Games recommends that players arrive 60 minutes before showtime to avoid queues when logging in, and the RIFT Tour playlist is activated for 30 minutes before each show. Here is the full schedule for the Ariana Grande concert:

Show 1: Friday, August 6 at 18:00
Show 2: Saturday, 7th of August at 14 o'clock et
Show 3: Sunday, August 8 at 12 o'clock et
Show 4: Sunday, August 8 at 10:00
Show 5: Sunday, August 8 at 18 o'clock et

These are the only five showtimes, so make sure you sign up for at least one of them so that they do not miss the experience. You can log on to the RIFT Tour tab of the lobby menu for one of the showtimes, but this is not required. You can log in and join at any time, even if you do not activate the "Wanna Go?" Check box.

What is the Fortnite Rift Tour?

According to Epic Games, the RIFT Tour is a "musical journey in magical new realities where Fortnite and Ariana Grande collide". It's basically just a concert. Think of the Travis Scott concert from last year, only greater (if you can believe the marketing of Epic faith).

Epic was also very cryptically about what exactly the RIFT tour will bring with you, but it looks like it could be more than just a simple concert. Sneak Previews have shown cracks, planes, monsters and the storm king of Save the World. The name "RIFT Tour" also implies some teleportation or alternative reality gapies, so it looks like the event will be filled with a lot of stuff.

How to get the Ariana Grande-Skin in Fortnite

The Ariana Grande-Skin is a chargeable skin of the icon series, which you can get in the item shop. It costs 2,000 V-Bucks. The skin includes two styles and the Piggy Smallz Back Bling. It is also a bundle for 2,800 V bucks available, which contains the Sweceteer Sailshard Wings Glider, which contains 7 Rings Smasher Pickhoe and the Lil 'Floaticorn Emote.

Apart from Ariana, there are other paid RIFT Tour Skins in the Item shop for sale. Party Trooper has returned and you can unlock an exclusive new style by visiting the concert when you own the skin. There is also a new set of skins called Press Play, which have music-reactive clothes.

Fortnite RIFT Tour Rewards

There are several free RIFT tour rewards that you can easily earn by completing challenges. Here is the list of challenges and rewards:

Cosmic Cuddles - Save the date in the RIFT Tour tab and play a match
Cloudy Kitty (Emoticon) - Use an Alien Hologram Pad on the Party UFO
Rift Asterpiece (Spray) - Interact with the RIFT Tour Posters
Cuddly Cloud Cruiser (Umbrella) - Take part in the RIFT Tour

All of these rewards are free, but you have to complete them before the end of the RIFT Tour events on 8 August. Fortnite-Crew members also receive additional rewards by signing up between Wednesday, August 5 at 10am et until Monday, 9th August at 10 o'clock et. If you have an active membership, you will receive the Rainbow Cloudcruiser Umbrella, the Skye Up High Loading Screen and a RIFT Tour Banner for free by just signing up.
