The Swedish Developer Machinegames has published a new job list for an artificial intelligence programmer on the Zenimax Media website. Founded in 2009, Machinegames has spent most of its existence working on Bethesda's Wolfenstein franchise. The list does not specifically indicate that you are hiring for a new entry into the series, but there are enough clues that seem to target the possibility. The team is hiring for its next AAA game and is looking for someone who has experience working in at least one or two AAA game productions sent. The work is also a permanent position in the company.
The list of works lists specifically the understanding of the multiplayer bots such as human replacements as one of the preferred skills of the position. In addition to wolfenstein: the new order and wolfenstein II: the new Colosso, Machinegames also has experience with Quake; In 2016, the study launched terremoto: Dimension of the past. That preferred ability seems to be applicable to both franchises, but Quake seems a little less likely. As an exputer points out, the preferred skills section also mentions knowledge and experience in the design of player colleagues. While some kind of companion would fit well in the world of Wolfenstein, it would probably be out of place in a new game of Quake.
For now, Wolfenstein's fans will only have to wait and see! The Wolfenstein series has been an important approach to Bethesda in recent years, so it would not be surprising that MachineGames is starting the development as a follow-up of _The new colossus. With luck, MachineGames will not make the fans wait too much before revealing what he is working below.
Online work listings have proven to be an excellent way for developers and publishers to find new talents to which they might not have access otherwise, but also gives fans a window to the development process. Studies try to be as vague as possible when it comes to this type of listings, but they still give fans a good opportunity to learn some hidden details about things that happen behind scene. Readers can check the work listening for themselves right here.
