Destiny 2 has much presented with the recent, new witch queen extension, also with regard to old light focuses. These should finally be customizable as modular and flexibly adaptable, as Stasis. Now there was finally a first concrete insight, as the whole thing will look like.
Many wanted this: This change is likely to look forward to many players. With Stasis, a specially designed individualization system was also introduced - and that is far ahead of the old light focuses with regard to adaptation options, offers many more freedoms and opportunities in creating individual builds.
Many have therefore liked this system for the old classes and bungie will actually fulfill this desire. In the current This Week at Bungie blog, the studio has now granted a concrete view of the upcoming revision for the first time.
Also important: In the course of TWAB Bungie also explained:
- There will be no new subclass of darkness in the context of Witch Queen or year 5. In year 5, one wants to focus on the old light focuses, their revision and their new possibilities
- In the course of the recently launched Season 15 there will be no new Stasis aspects or fragments
Subclass 3.0 - How to change the old light focuses from Witch Queen
The plan shortly: With Witch Queen, the studio will begin to massively revise the neglected old light classes according to the modular model of the new Stasis system - including our own aspects and fragments.
The whole calls bungie subclass 3.0. So you often baptized the system of Stasis and now expand this to all other focuses. The beginning makes the empty focus with Empty 3.0 in Season 16, the other elements, so solar and arkus, should then follow in the following Seasons.
With emptiness 3.0 you want the subclasses you know and loves, in principle reinterpret. New skills and mechanics are added, some old ones are left behind, overtaken and / or expanded to enable new cool and fun combinations, of which you may not even know that you want them. The characteristic styles of this focus should be preserved - some only perhaps in some other form.
General to empty 3.0: Just like Stasis, which is defined by the 3 keywords slow down, freeze and cut, will soon also specialize in empty 3.0 and other old focuses on 3 such keywords. In the case of emptiness it is suppress, weaknesses and instability.
These terms should be nothing new for starred players, but now becomes an important part of a wider, systematic scaffold - in principle the basis for aligning the revised focus. They do not only appear in the subclass menu, but then on weapons perks, on exotic armor or on mods of the respective seasonal artifact. Here is the central elements of the empty system:
With emptiness there are 3 negative status effects that allow you to prove enemies:
- Suppression (suppression) **** - Any active skills are interrupted, no skills or motion modes can be activated while suppression is active. Affected Ki opponents can not fire weapons
- Weaken (weaknesses) - The target suffers increased damage and its movement speed is reduced. Affected Ki opponents shoot less precisely
- Volatile (instability) **** - The goal is infected with unstable emptiness energy and explodes when there are additional damage or dies
There are also 3 positive effects with which you can prove you and your allies:
- Blank Allowe - a protective barrier of empty light that reduces incoming enemy damage
- Invisibility - you will be invisible and will not appear on an enemy radar
- Devouring - you can get you on the energy of your enemies. Kills replace your complete health, grant grenade energy and extend the duration of devour
First preview to empty 3.0
Consider that this is only a few first, exemplary changes.
EXAMPLE Night Pirscher Hunter:
-
Shadow shot - Möbius quiver super
- It fires 2 Salven with 3 empty arrows each in a cone-shaped area that look for enemies and create empty anchors when impacting. Shadow shot makes the tailed enemies unstable and shares higher damage against bound enemies
- One of the most annoying things on the current version of the Möbius Köcher is that you have to press the super-trigger input quite often to shoot each arrow individually. First, that requires a lot of time and, secondly, misses the actually targeted goal. Since several arrows are now fired at a time, it should be a lot easier to get in preparation for a fight or for burst damage to a boss with dropping.
-
Stylish Executioner - aspect
- Defeat a weakened, oppressed or unstable enemy, grants the invisibility and true view. After running a stylish execution, your next melee attack (as long as invisible) will weaken enemies
- This is a twist for the revised PERK Immaculate Execution. With this aspect, the night pirscher can specialize in defeating debuffed enemies and thus maintain the invisibility
Example Sentinel Titan:
- Overwatch - aspect
- Summons a blank barricade to miss a blank allies yourself and close allies. This barricade also slowly regenerates the empty-excitement of allies looking behind cover
- Here, the role of Sentinel should be highlighted as a protector of the team at the forefront. Overwatch is exactly the right instrument for this
- Shield Toss - projectile melee attack
- Shafts your shield opposes an enemy. The shield can bounce off opponents and surfaces and donate a bit empty all of everyone made for every enemy.
- Titans should receive more options for projectile melee attacks. This shield design embodies a good choice for aggressive pushers in enemy groups. So you can ever soften something and had a little longer in the game yourself
Example Blank Runners Warlock:
- Pocket Singularity - projectile melee attack
- Unleashes a target-tracking, unstable sphere of empty energy that explodes when approaching an enemy. This throws the goals back from the explosion site and makes them unstable
- Shuts enemies out of cover. A well-placed ball can skid enemies in the air, so you can bring the then unstable enemies with a headshot to explosion, even before touching the ground again
- Child of the Old Gods - aspect
- Represents your RIFT to summon a self-thinking black hole that hovers your side and wait for a destination. It will overthrow yourself to enemies and then starts to suck out energy and weaken them. In doing so, their extracted life force supplies either with grenade and faith energy (strengthening RIFT) or with health (healing RIFT) according to the type of rift. Defeat your enemies, whom energy is sucked out through this aspect, give you the slightly Rift energy back
- Child of the Old Gods is a powerful debuff tool that gives empty runners a further way to control an area and get themselves
