With a comprehensive update, the developers of Outbreak: Endless Nightmares celebrate the most successful release in franchise history.
Outbreak: Endless Nightmares is the first title of the Outbreak Series, which at the same time appeared for the Xbox Series X | S and the Xbox One. Since the publication, the Outbreak Player Base has grown 8 times compared to previous titles.
To celebrate this success over 20 important improvements that come directly from the feedback of the community were integrated into the game.
New options have been added, with which you can select the game resolution (Xbox Series X), the graphics quality and the V-Sync options.
On the Xbox Series X you can choose from four graphics modes: power (1080p), quality (1080p with real-time shadow), power + (native 4k) and quality + (native 4k with real-time shadows) to either the frame rate or graphics quality Prioritize.
Discrete V-Sync options were added to all other Xbox platforms to release 60fps, 30fps or the frame rate, in addition to almost 3x faster charging times and 20% enhanced frame rate (varies depending on the platform and game scene). The texture quality was also improved in parts of the title.
The new standard control system gives you the opportunity to use the over-the-shoulder and ego shooter mode. Your survivor is now much more agile, with grazing shots and the possibility to give headshots from greater distance for extreme damage.
Waffenbalancing has also been greatly improved, with power weapons, such as shotgun, cause explosive damage. The wounds were also repaired and are now more realistic. The coop mode was also fundamentally revised and plays better than before.
