It is safe to say that I have become a fan of the Roccat mice over the last two years. Before having my first Roccat mouse, I burned a filthy mousefog. I do not know what it is, but I'm outright abusive towards the mice I use for work and games. Needless to say, I need a mouse capable of managing serious bumps and bruises. And that's not all. I also need a wireless, reactive, comfortable, with a durable battery that looks clear. This is not much to ask, right?
I am very happy with my mouse Roccat Kain 200 Aimo for about a year. He was the best mouse I've ever used. That's until I play with the Roccat Kone Pro Air mouse. It's hard to be breathtaking by a simple computer accessory, but my oh-my, this mouse is absolutely beautiful.
I will not lie, the price made me think. On Amazon, the Roccat Kone Pro Air will cost you about 129 USD (at the time of writing this article). This is certainly much more than I am usually ready to spend for a mouse. Without a doubt you can find cheaper mice on the market, but there is this saying, "you pay for what you get".
In this case, if you want the best, you will have to pay a little. The Kone Pro Air is simply the best. With regard to its comfort, its performance, functionality, durability and battery power, the air is the cream of the cream.
I also love the look of this mouse. This white pro kone has a solid honeycomb shell, which not only looks fantastic, but it is extremely light; weighing 75g. The translucent discolorative lights appear to be sharp and constitute the perfect showcase for the AIMO lighting. It has a cool and unique design with a strong ergonomic sensation. It's a sexy appearance mouse with a size that is perfect for my hands. It is suitable for long play sessions and is now my favorite mouse when working at home.
My old kain 200 Aimo's old mouse weighing 105g, looks like a tank with respect to the Kone. The fall on a 75 g mouse is significant. It is easy to move and regardless of the type of surface you use. I used it on the fabric of the sofa, the high-end mouse pad and the kitchen table. The result, in any case, was an incredibly reactive mouse regardless of the surface you use. Its light and ergonomic design makes it a small mouse agile and easy to maneuver. Even the rubber scroll wheel is nice and works exactly as it should.
It goes without saying that wireless and bluetooth capabilities are absolutely great. I do not know how I will never go back to a wired mouse. I hope I will not do it. You can switch between 2.4 GHz for games and Bluetooth to work on your laptop. I had two disconnections from the wireless dongle plugged into my laptop work, which seemed strange, but the restart of my laptop seemed to synchronize it. This is an area I watch and if it becomes a permanent problem, this review will be updated. For now, I attribute the problem to an older laptop that greatly needs to be updated.
This mouse has more than 100 hours of autonomy, which is unreal. The KONE also has a fast load where you get 5 hours of playback with only 10 minutes of charge. You can also play while loading with the USB-C PhantomFlex cable. It's a bit embarrassing to play or work with, but it's good to have options, is not it. But this 100-hour autonomy is rather radiant and crushes most competitors.
The buttons themselves produce satisfactory clicks. Thank you largely at Titan Switch Optical that offers a touch and responsive click. The click is not so much either, which is nice and will burn anyone else sitting in the room.
Wireless game mice can not have entry offset problems. It's a decisive factor. Everything must be absolutely accurate and have fast movements is an absolute must. Rest assured that Kone Pro is accurate and fast. Not to mention is super precise. This is a very responsive click with "actuation at the speed of light" that offers excellent speed and accuracy. The mouse delivers as announced.
In addition to its excellent appearance and your touch, the Kone has a ton of features with the Swarm software. You can adjust your built-in profiles, the DPI settings, the mouse speed and much more. It's a bit too much for me, but the options will be perfect for these seasoned players on PC. The Roccat Kone Pro Air mouse is undoubtedly the best mouse I have ever owned. From its comfortable ergonomic sensation to its exceptional precision, the pro air is a solid purchase for anyone looking to seriously improve their mouse game. Whether long play sessions or long hours of work on your laptop, the Kone Pro Air is an investment that you will be happy to have done.
